Wedding day may have been the happiest day of my life so far, but last Saturday was probably the second happiest day of my life. Why, you may ask?

Chop, chop, choppity chop! It was time for all of the hair I'd been growing out for over a year to go!

My head is so much lighter and my new shorter 'do is just in time for Summer. I was positively gleeful all last week with the thought of getting my hair cut, and I am so pleased with the results. Sure, it's not cutting edge, and it's not a super-trendy style. Doesn't matter a bit, because my hair will 1. no longer tangle at the base of my neck, 2. no longer choke me in the middle of the night, and 3. no longer take two days to fully dry.

It looks great!! I thought I would chop all my hair off..but I'm actually kind of liking it long right now so i'm going to keep it long through the summer and then decide from there what I want to do!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!! I chopped 5 inches off of my hair 2 weeks after the wedding and it felt SO GOOD. It's still a little long--I should have cut 7 inches off--but it will do for now. I think I'm going to get another mini-chop next month.
