I Saw the Sign, Part II

Sign number two on my pre-wedding week to-do list was the photo booth sign.

Once upon a wedding dream I had a vision of a detailed, scroll-y, old-fashioned, square picture frame painted in a bright, shocking color.  Something like this:

I searched for months for a frame that I could spray paint into my vision, but these frame-sellers knew what they had was precious and priced it accordingly.  I was not going to spend $40 bucks on something I would be shellacking with yellow paint.

Eventually I found this:

Then I sprayed it,

Then I was ready to get my sign on.  I used leftover invitation card stock to make a background, copied, then doctored some wording from an online source, printed it onto a piece of card stock, got out my handy-dandy paper edge puncher for some extra detailing, and voila!  I had a sign:

Let's see it in action:

The sign did its job, and looked pretty awesome on our photo booth table. Everyone grabbed a mustache, fake lips, glasses, or other photo booth props and got busy taking pictures for our guestbook! I loved it!
