May Day!: Girls, Girls, Girls

The first official order of picture business was to get me and my bridesmaids in front of the camera lens.

Before we even got to the Foundry, Niki had me and my bridesmaids take a few shots at the suite.  It just so happened that there was a window in the bathroom, and she took a few pictures through it, making for some really great, framed shots.

Early on in my wedding planning journey, I came across a few brides who talked about how they wished they had taken pictures with each of their bridesmaids separately, and it stuck with me. I really wanted to make sure that I got a picture of each girl on her own, as well as a picture with just the two of us.

After the individual and one-on-ones were done, it was time for a few group shots:

I like to think of this as our bad ass bridesmaids shot...

It's all about the shoes...

It took a while for us to get all of these shots, mostly because I was stupidly toddling around in my heels, which was a huge mistake.  I couldn't wait for pictures to be over so I could take my shoes off and sit down!  I think (for the most part) my grimace of pain doesn't show through.

I am thrilled with how these shots came out, and I really love the individual shots with and of each of my bridesmaids.  Now I will always have fantastic, professional pictures with my best friends!
